Greetings Brown Family Members,
As we get closer to our family reunion, we wanted to reach out once again with all of the final details. We have added a few extra things to make this weekend even more exciting and we want you to know there is still time to register. Interesting Fact: In 1998, The Guinness Book of World Records acknowledged the largest family reunion was set by an African American family in Illinois. They had over 2,300 descendents attending. Research shows how Family Reunion’s have always been an extremely important part of our ancestry. Let us not forget why. We do not have near as many barriers to keep us from getting together as our ancestors did.
When I look at the things that are going on in our world today, I can’t think of anything more important than our faith and our family. If you can’t come for the entire weekend, please try attending at least one day. Our Banquet is a 70’s theme. So don’t forget your afro’s and platform shoes.
